I don’t like fish and it felt like half of the recipes used fish. There was nothing new or interesting enough to have me checking the contents of the larder to get going with my first efforts. To be fair – I have used a steamer for many years, so if you are trying it for the first time this may well be the book for you. Towards the end of the book there are several recipes with only this copy pasted on each page, with only the ingredients changed. No information on how to process the ingredients.
